Mr. Mangione completed his undergraduate work at the University of California, San Diego, receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree cum laude in 1977.  He then attended law school at the University of San Diego and obtained a Juris Doctor Degree in 1981.  Mr. Mangione became a member of the San Diego Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates in 1998.  He has been included in The Best Lawyers of America since 2002, and Who's Who in Executives and Professionals.   He has also been listed in Super Lawyers, San Diego and in the San Diego Magazine, “Best Lawyers in San Diego” edition.   Mr. Mangione is an adjunct professor of law at California Western School of Law, where he teaches trial skills for distinguished advocates.   He is also a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and has done volunteer work at the San Diego Juvenile Detention Facility.  Mr. Mangione is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Central and Southern Districts of California, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal. Mr. Mangione has defended and represented parties in catastrophic injury cases.   In 2001, he obtained a $7.6 million dollar verdict for an individual in a premises liability case in the Los Angeles Superior Court.  In 2008, he secured an $8.3 million dollar settlement for a family involved in an intersection accident.   Mr. Mangione practices in the area of civil litigation, and has tried complex personal injury, employment, probate and business cases.
