Mr. Lovelace completed his undergraduate work at the University of Minnesota, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Linguistics in 1994, with a minor in Computer Science. He went on to attend the University of Minnesota Law School, receiving his Juris Doctor Degree cum laude in 1999. While in law school, Mr. Lovelace was a member of the Minnesota Law Review and the Wagner Labor Law Moot Court. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1999 and the State Bar of Minnesota in 2001. He is the former co-chair of the Estate Planning, Trusts, and Probate section of the San Diego County Bar Association, and a former member of the Conference of Delegates for the State Bar of California and the San Diego County Bar Association. Mr. Lovelace currently chairs the Bench-Bar Committee for the Trusts and Estates Section of the San Diego County Bar and practices in the areas of Probate and Trust Administration, Litigation and Estate Planning.
