Mr. Grebing, Managing Partner of the firm, did his undergraduate work at California State Polytechnic College, obtaining his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1967. He attended California Western School of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctor Degree in 1970. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1971. While in law school, he was the Notes and Comments Editor of the California Western Law Review. He is a past President (1975) of the San Diego Barristers Club, and is a member of the San Diego County and American Bar Associations, in addition to the State Bar of California. He has lectured for the Continuing Education Bar Program, Rutter Group, and American Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. Grebing is currently a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel, and served as the first President of the San Diego Defense Lawyers Association. He is a past board member of the San Diego Bar Association, where he also served as Secretary and Vice President. He is a past board member of the San Diego Bar Foundation. He has served as President of the San Diego Inns of Court and is a Master in the American Inns of Court, Enright Chapter. Mr. Grebing is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers. In recognition of his extensive trial experience, he has been admitted to the San Diego Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates and was San Diego Chapter President in 2002. He is currently serving as the Vice President of CAL-ABOTA. Since 1994, he has been included in The Best Lawyers in America, and was the 1999 recipient of the Daniel T. Broderick Award. In 2001 he was honored as the Defense Attorney of the Year by San Diego Defense Lawyers.
