Srinivas M. Hanumadass
Associate
Srinivas joined Wingert Grebing in 2008 after working for a San Diego firm specializing in the defense of doctors and hospitals in medical staff/peer review matters and medical malpractice actions. He served on the litigation team on the landmark Supreme Court case of
Kibler v. Northern Inyo County Local Hospital District (2006) 39 Cal. 4th 192 which holds that physicians engaging in peer review are entitled to free speech protection under California law. Since joining Wingert Grebing, Srinivas has focused on both the prosecution and defense of employment matters from the pleading stage through trial. He helped secure a complete defense verdict in a sexual harassment/disability discrimination case and a $1.3 million settlement on behalf of his clients under the California whistleblower statutes. Srinivas currently represents a local public agency in large construction contract dispute. No matter the area he practices in, Srinivas enjoys being a litigator and believes that no professional accomplishment exceeds preparing hard, performing well and obtaining a good result for his clients.
