Jim is foremost a trial lawyer. He has obtained multiple million-dollar verdicts and settlements. He routinely prepares and tries complex cases. Jim represents plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury matters, product liability cases, employment matters, probate cases and business disputes. He also conducts workplace investigations and is a member of California Association of Workplace Investigators. Jim’s abilities have earned him well-deserved recognition by his peers. He is a member of the San Diego Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and is included in the Best Lawyers in America©. Attorneys both inside and outside of the firm look to Jim for guidance and advice. Jim is an adjunct professor of law at California Western School of Law where he teaches advanced trial skills.
