Amy practices primarily in the area of general business litigation with an emphasis on disputes involving land use, business torts/contracts, and insurance coverage. Her land use practice involves the representation of businesses, property owners, developers, and other private parties in actions involving easement and real estate disputes, complex construction defect actions and claims involving the Subdivision Map Act, the Mitigation Fee Act, the California Public Records Act, and other State and local development regulations. Amy has also successfully litigated cases against municipalities on due process and equal protection grounds. In addition, Amy litigates complex commercial disputes involving contracts, unfair business practice claims and cases involving insurance bad faith.
